I found an interesting but very quick and easy recipe for Chocolate-Dipped Cherry Treats on the California Cherry Advisory Board’s website and since I had some cherries which I bought yesterday, I thought I might as well have a go.
Needless to say, I didn’t measure anything but simply melted some chocolate in my Le Creuset double boiler. You could also use a suitable-sized bowl over a pan of water if you don’t have a proper double boiler. All you have to do is melt the chocolate and dip the cherries in it to half-coat them. This was the first time I’d done this and perhaps I was a little clumsy with it, but practice makes perfect so I would have a go again. They tasted great anyway!
