I’d been planning to blog about doing a cheap and easy Christmas dinner, but when I saw the SORTED version, I decided not to reinvent the wheel. I’ve been a fan of Ben Ebbrell ever since he sent me a review copy of SORTED – a rookie’s guide to crackin’ cooking. It’s a fabulous book, full of no-nonsense tips to make delicious but easy meals.
Here’s Ben’s version of a cheap, easy and tasty Christmas dinner.

On the subject of cheap Christmas meals, I also found this recipe for a cheap Christmas dinner on the Guardian‘s website. It includes a starter of lobster and crayfish tails. LOL! How the other half lives, eh?
